Whitstable Pearl

The popular British crime drama Whitstable Pearl stars Kerry Godliman as Pearl Nolan – a private detective in the coastal Kentish town.

For series three, the production made use of a particularly versatile location in Haringey (a pearl, if you will) – Stamford Primary School. The now empty, film-friendly school is available for both interior and exterior filming and creates fantastic opportunities for doubling. In this case, the school doubled as a Police Station.

The production were on location for three weeks total including plenty of prep and strike to realise the vision of Production Designer, Andrew Lavin, and Art Director, Fainche McArdle. We worked with Location Manager Hugh Elphick to facilitate the shoot, and loved seeing the transformation come to fruition.
