Mobland season 2

Inside MobLand Season 2’s London locations

MobLand is back on Paramount+ for a second season and once again, London plays a starring role on screen. FilmFixer supported filming for Season 2 across Camden, Hounslow, Kensington and Chelsea and Southwark, giving the production access to everything from period squares and riverside homes to busy London streets.

Five episodes of the ten-part season are currently available, with new episodes releasing weekly on Fridays (see here for a schedule). The drama returns to the world of the Harrigan family and their fixer Harry Da Souza, with Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren among the returning cast.

In Hounslow the production made fitting use of the former police station on Chiswick High Road dressing it as, appropriately enough, a police station (see below)! The production also returned to Strand on the Green, where a property returned as one of the series’ key homes. With its historic riverside setting, the area provided a very different backdrop from the more urban shoots elsewhere in the capital.

In Camden, filming included Fitzroy Square and Camden Town Library. Further filming took place on Ledbury Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, while Shad Thames in Southwark was captured for an establishing shot – another instantly recognisable piece of London architecture making its way into the series.

FilmFixer worked with members of the MobLand locations team including Robbie Ambler and Josh Benedetti across these shoots, and the SLM for the series is Steve Mortimore. With the second half of the season still to come, we’ll be keeping an eye out for more familiar London locations as they appear on screen!
