BRIDGERTON, SEASON 3

Bridgerton Season 3 – just like the two seasons before it – has taken the world by storm, with the show’s biggest opening weekend to date. Netflix’s internal rankings said that the first batch of episodes racked up 45.05 million views worldwide. That’s a lot of views.

We are delighted to have worked on this season, with a key shoot on Camden’s Woburn Walk and another at the beautiful Chiswick House and Gardens.

Woburn Walk
Woburn Walk is a cobbled alley in Camden with a tonne of personality. For the Bridgerton shoot, the Art Department transformed the shop fronts into period purveyors of luxury goods. It looked so good, it was almost a shame that it had to be struck. The Locations Team – headed up by SLM Tony Hood – liaised with the Woburn Walk Residents & Traders Association to navigate the challenges of large crowd scenes, three sizeable lighting cranes, and – of course – horses and carriages, as you can seen in the header image above.

Chiswick House
The house features in Episode Six and was made over into a grand church with a little help from CGI-generated steeple. They shot over a number of chilly days in February, with the star-studded cast having to don big fleecy robes over their Regency-era finery to protect themselves from the cold in between shots.

It was a large scale shoot with scores of supporting artists, manitou cranes, JCBs and – you guessed it – horses and carriages galore. The venue team at Chiswick House welcomed the beautiful chaos with open arms and the shoot was a great success. In addition to the shoot, Chiswick Garden also played host to a Bridgerton ‘fan wedding’ and provided the backdrop for an exclusive Bridgerton-inspired shoot for Liberty London.
