Ed sheeran’s azizam

“Azizam”, a Persian term meaning “my dear” or “my beloved”, is also the name of Ed Sheeran’s latest single. Reflecting on his Instagram account, the singer-songwriter said: “I asked Ilya Salmanzadeh (producer) what we should do for a music video, and he said ‘you gotta do it as a Persian wedding, that’s the best way to showcase all of the culture in a video’.”

The music video was officially released on April 17th, with Crispin Buxton and Bea Fraser as Location Managers. They searched for a setting with a lush, welcoming atmosphere for the wedding scenes — and Gunnersbury House delivered.

We represent Gunnersbury Park & Museum through our Private Clients portfolio, working closely with the Events Manager Nida Wali to get shoots like this over the line. We caught up with two of the producers on Azizam after the shoot, who said:

“Nida is an MVP – we couldn’t be more thankful. She was so accommodating, and everyone was so flexible with us […] and it’s a beautiful place, it’s so beautiful – it’s like a gem hidden in West London”

The crew transformed Gunnersbury’s Victorian-era Historic Kitchens into a vibrant, working kitchen filled with authentic Persian dishes. For the wedding party scenes, they styled the Rothschild Rooms with elegant furniture, textiles, and eclectic decor.
